Area of Responsibility: Responsible for the development and implementation of Professional Development and Education programs and ensure that serves the interests and needs of the chapter members and potential members.

Career Snapshot: Shahrier has over seven years of experience in software project management, process improvement, quality assurance, operations management, and business analysis. He is presently Program Manager at Southtech Limited. He is simultaneously Head of Enterprise Process Group (EPG) and a member of Product and Service Improvement Committee of Southtech. Experience includes software development project management for financial management, human resource management, garments company management, educational institute management; process improvement project to comply with SEI CMMI, ISO 9001; COTS product implementation (Microsoft Project Server, Share Point Portal); conducting training on Project Management, Software Engineering and Quality Assurance functional areas.

Formal Education: Shahrier holds MBA degree and Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science.
